With 160/150mm of travel front/rear, you're ready to take on darn near everything. Of course, the Dakar's frame design is enhanced with Fox's awesome RP2 shock in the rear and Marzocchi's 55 TST2 fork with lockout up front, so you can climb back up to the top. Plus, great specs like a SRAM X-9 drivetrain, Hayes Stroker disc brakes, Mavic rims and Syncros controls make this one bike worth riding over the whole mountain.

Blurring the line between XC and all-mountain is Jamis' Dakar XCT 1. With 130mm of travel in the rear, the light aluminum frame descends just as well as it climbs. Steering through any and all trails, a SunTour suspension fork takes on rugged descents and rough trails with 140mm of travel. Plus, a solid mix of gear keeps you rolling along, like tough Alex rims with Geax knobbies and Ritchey controls. Last but certainly not least, FSA cranks turning your Shimano drivetrain let you ride every zone: up, down and all around.
Jamis created one heck of an all-day trail bike with the Dakar XCT 2. Its lightweight, responsive mp3 suspension frame climbs like a XC racer yet rips with 130mm of Fox RP2 travel, perfect for rough, aggressive downhills. Marzocchi's 44 fork adjusts from 100 to 140mm of travel to match the pitch and terrain. Plus, it's equipped with serious components like a Shimano XT rear derailleur, SLX shifters, lightweight Mavic rims, powerful Avid Elixir discs and a full spread of fine components from Ritchey. All of this translates into one outstanding bike that begs to be ridden.
It's a big world; ride all of it. Jamis' Dakar XCT 3 splits the difference between a pure XC racer and a long-travel all-mountain bike. Its super-responsive mp3 suspension frame gives you 130mm of travel so you can plunge down the fall line while the adjustable-travel Fox TALAS fork cranks down from 140mm to 100mm to tackle the big climbs. In keeping with the balanced theme, the XCT 3 uses a slightly more relaxed geometry for high-speed stability without compromising quick handling for technical sections. Some great spec highlights include SRAM X-9 gearing, Avid Elixir discs and Mavic Crossride wheels with some fast Geax tires. And, when the trail points down, just drop the Crank Brothers Joplin seatpost with the flick of a switch for ultimate control.
Jamis' Parker I was originally designed for dual slalom, then riders quickly figured out that it's awesome at dirt jumps, skateparks and the trails. It's aluminum frame is light enough for tail whipping and stout enough for freeride jibbing. RockShox' Domain U-Turn fork adjusts from 160mm for big hits down to 115mm for racing or jumping while Fox's Float air shock keeps the rear end active with 100mm.
