The RXL Road Shoes are the crown jewel in Bontrager's Road lineup. From the ground up, the RXLs mean business. Bontrager's Gold series carbon soles deliver the stiffness you need for maximum power transfer and inside you'll enjoy the comfort of Bontrager's customizable eSoles. Plus, the breathable uppers feel great and feature tongues that extend to the toes for a custom fit and feel. You also get no-slip heels and ratcheting buckle and triple-strap closures.
In order to mount your pedals' cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns. There are 3 configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD.
