Cannondale's Claymore 3 rules the rough lines and lets you pedal back to the top for more. Its tough aluminum frame won't back down from a few big hits and its innovative DYAD shock lets you choose between 180mm or 110mm of travel so you can run fast and loose on the descents or high and tight on the climbs. With a 180/140mm adjustable-travel Fox Talas fork, stout Sun rims and surefooted Kenda tires, you'll be in absolute control on the on the steepest, gnarliest trails. You also get a wide-range SRAM/Shimano 20-speed drivetrain for pedaling versatility and a whole host of gravity-friendly touches like a bash guard, Avid Elixir brakes with 8/7-inch rotors and Cannondale's reliable aluminum components.
Cannondale/Fox's DYAD allows you to virtually switch bikes at the top of the hill. Just flip the switch to choose between 110mm of travel for proficient pedaling or 180mm of travel for descending. Switching between the two modes also changes the bike's geometry from steep and forward for efficent climbing to low and stable for masterful descending.
