With oversize heel tabs, easy on/off hook-and-loop closures as well as custom-moldable uppers and insoles, Shimano's SH-TR70s just might be the ideal triathlon shoes. They use Thermo-Form technology that allows each shoe to be customized to your foot for a ride you'll have to feel to believe. To get each shoe just right, we heat mold plastic panels in the uppers and insoles until they perfectly conform to the contours of your feet. Of course, you also get curved, anatomical carbon soles for optimum power transfer, anti-slip heel cups and seamless, quick-dry interiors that keep you comfortable, even with wet feet and no socks.
In order to mount your pedal's cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns. There are three configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look and SPD. Road shoes feature one, two or even all three of these. Mountain-bike shoes usually use the SPD pattern. If you're unsure what bolt pattern your shoes use, please contact us. We're here to help!
