The Entrata Thermal Glove focuses on the essential elements of a winter cycling glove. We made the outer layer both windproof for warmth and stretchy for comfort. Then we added a layer of PrimaLoft insulation and an inner layer of lightly brushed fleece. This construction makes the glove insanely soft inside. On the outside you have a full synthetic leather palm with a silicone grip pattern, touchscreen inserts on the index finger and thumb, and a reflective logo. This is a modern interpretation of the wind shell jacket, the one you keep in your pocket for a long descent or put on for the first hour of the ride until the day warms up. That jacket used to be a simple affair — a nylon shell — but the lack of stretch meant that it had to be cut on the generous side to fit all body shapes, both on and off the bike. We've completely reimagined what the shell jacket should be and how it's constructed. We've added panels on the sides and the sleeves in a very high-stretch yet tightly knit fabric that allows us to give the jacket a modern, close-to-body fit for aero gains on any terrain, and it actually keeps more heat in than a jacket that's flapping about. We've kept it very compact so that it can pack away into minimal space in a jersey pocket. INDOOR TRAINING NEVER LOOKED THIS GOOD We made this jersey for the rigors of indoor training. The 3D Mesh fabric allows maximum airflow for cooling while the 100% polyester content means it provides maximum moisture wicking. We made it on the limit of not being too transparent in case you want to wear it for group training sessions, or if you're using it at home and want to take it off after warming up the long zipper means it comes off easy. We put a couple of pockets on the back so you can stash your AirPods or phone or headband or whatever you haul to your training station. We've kept the collar low and the waist short for maximum cooling. The ideal tight for most of your winter riding, the Velocissimo is focused on comfort for riding in mild to cool conditions. We've used our Thermoflex fabric for most of the tight. It's not our warmest fabric, nor does it repel water like Nano Flex, but it is the softest, stretchiest winter tight fabric. The comfort is immediate and lasting. For the lower leg from just below the knee, we switch to our Nano Flex fleeced stretch-woven fabric that's both warm and highly water repellent for protection against spray coming off wet roads. It's also highly stretchy, and we leave a raw edge so we can construct the ankles without zippers while making sure the tight remains easy to put on and take off. For 2019 we've made some dramatic changes. Not because Team Ineos or you were asking for it, but because we've been riding in it a ton and thinking constantly about how we could make it better. NOT YOUR NORMAL REMOVABLE-SLEEVE JACKET We went back to the design table to come up with a better way to make a removable-sleeve jacket and in the process created a brilliantly versatile jacket. The zippers sit just above the elbow and cover 3/4 of the circumference of the arm. With the sleeves in place, you have Castelli's top-performing Perfetto RoS long-sleeve jacket. Remove the sleeves and you have a real Gabba to wear with your Nano Flex arm warmers. The zippers are covered so you don't see them from the outside or feel them from the inside. For Winter 2019 the Perfetto Convertible gets the RoS treatment: Rain or Shine. The same breathability and fit you've come to expect from the Perfetto, but now with significantly improved rain protection, including seam sealing on the shoulders.
